Customer Service Team

Ross Archer – Director 

Ross (he/him) has been supporting the growth and development of the Strong Minds Psychology journey for ten years. He is passionate about working in a strong team environment to support our communities, and creating structures and connections that allow us to provide more opportunities to support mental health and development. 

Ross has over 20 years experience in the small business sector, providing excellent and efficient customer service, and working with clients to find the best possible outcome for their needs. After more than two decades, Ross has finished running his other small business, so he can focus on supporting our team & community. 

Outside of SMP, Ross enjoys board games, spending time with his family, and is a super keen golfer. Ross aims to keep fit and healthy, getting involved in running & other excercise challenges. 

 

Melinda McLeod  – Customer Service Team Leader

Melinda (she/her) leads our Customer Service team with a sense of calm and community. Melinda comes from a medical background, having previously worked on the front desk of a private medical practice, and prior to that working in Queensland as a paramedic. 

 

Melinda has a professional team work ethic and believes in building a caring and supportive work environment that can then be portrayed in our communication and services with our clients. Melinda believes in going that little extra step to offer the best support we can. Outside of SMP Melinda enjoys spending quality time with her family. 

 

Melinda is a keen long distance runner and loves the mental and physical challenge of training and competing in ultra marathons. You will often see her out on the trails and conquering that huge hill.

 

Melinda works full time across both clinics to lead our Customer Service team, & support our clinicians & community. 

 

Rhonda Schembri  – Finance Office

Rhonda (she/her) provides professional administration support to our psychologists and a caring intake process for new clients. With 20 years experience in the healthcare, early childhood and private sectors, Rhonda believes that supportive communication and organisation play a vital part in creating a successful team. 

Rhonda loves the challenge of balancing work and family life in her local community and you will find her studying many recipes from Jamie Oliver’s 35 Minutes Meal book. 

Rhonda can be found primarily in the Yarra Junction clinic. 

 

Melissa Hall – Customer Service

Melissa (she/her) has undertaken a new career path in customer service with the Strong Minds team in 2021, after spending much of her career working in the education industry caring for & educating primary school aged children. Melissa has also worked in the health industry, with experience supporting people of differing abilities with care & respite for local families.

Melissa is passionate about creating a sense of belonging, connection & community. She loves helping others & enjoys working as part of a team. Melissa is also passionate about her Cavoodle, Layla, who she loves to spend time with. 

In her spare time, Melissa likes to visit new places, check out the art & craft section of markets & eat out at cafes & restaurants. She is currently exploring the world of resin & hopes to one day make a resin table-top. 

Melissa looks forward to welcoming you at either Yarra Junction or Warragul clinic. 

 

Cristina Edwards  – Customer Service

Cristina (she/her) provides customer service & administration support to our clients and psychologists with an aim to meet all requests presented. 

Cristina is currently a student at Deakin University studying Psychology and Criminology and is eager to build on her academic foundations through her work at our clinics. Cristina is passionate about helping others and believes that ongoing support is essential for self-care. 

In her spare time, Cristina referees basketball, enjoys going to the gym, participating in yoga classes, travelling and socialising with family and friends. If you see her around, she loves talking about upcoming travel and seeing pictures of your beloved cats.

Sarah Benyaminovich – Customer Service

Sarah (she/they) has been in customer service for 10 years and prides herself on being a welcoming and understanding presence to both her co-workers and clients. 

Sarah is currently a student studying Psychology and Criminology and is looking forward to applying her knowledge and strengthening her understanding during her work in both clinics. Sarah is passionate about helping people understand themselves and the reasoning behind one’s actions, which Sarah hopes will also assist in understanding other people better. 

When not at work, Sarah enjoys listening to and practicing music, watching true-crime documentaries, socialising with friends and family, and playing table-top board and role-playing games.
